Product Description
This lesson was designed to help students use their names to study fractions. They will create a grid of their names and label the fractional units of the letters and the negative space. It also allows students to discover the area and perimeter of the letters of their names using the same grids.

Students also answer a series of questions, deciding which letters were smaller and larger, using greater than, less than, and equal to in order to compare fractions, area, and perimeter.
