This game was inspired by the old game show that was popular on television around the 1960’s to accompany my FREE lesson plan bundle of 9 musical/entertainment vocations! https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Musical-Vocations-A-Free-Bundle-2368741

This game is an interactive PowerPoint game!
Students will “meet” a character and learn their name and where they are from. On the next slide there will be 5 or 6 questions that the character will answer regarding their occupation. On the old game show they could answer yes, no, or maybe but I included more information to try to make up for lack of voice inflection and facial expressions.
Allow one student to pick one question by tapping or clicking on that question. Based on that one clue the student may take a guess what they think the occupation of that character is. If they get it right you (the teacher) can tell them but if they guess incorrectly the next student may pick a different question displayed and then take a guess based on the information so far. If the occupation is not guessed before all questions have been revealed you may either allow a pre-determined number of additional guesses or reveal the answer. You can advance to the reveal slide by clicking anywhere around questions.
You may consider forming teams or using one character a day as an activity while waiting for classroom teachers to pick up or for late comers to arrive.
Note: the questions, answers AND the information on the "reveal" slides are editable!
