This is for basically anyone who has trouble communicating what is wrong with them. This, of course, applies to non-speaking people, but it fits a larger group. Young children who can't quite express themselves yet. People on the autism spectrum who can normally communicate, but "lose their words" when they get too distressed. It's very adaptable. This is the largest grid, but you can of course delete options you don't think are necessary and provide fewer choices for those who have difficulty focusing or choosing from a large number of things. You could even cut them out, laminate, and add velcro, and then put them in a PECS book. Use them however you see best works.
