I wanted to make something to challenge my students with their math and language arts skills. Many of my students know MOST of their letters/sounds, sight words, and basic math skills. But they tend to rush right through their work and don't always pay attention to details. Sound familiar?!?

So in these activities they really have to activate their higher level thinking to check each problem and solve or fix the mistakes.

Included are the following skills:
*Alphabet Match - 4 pages where students have to decide if the picture matches the letter given.
*Beginning Sounds - 5 pages where they have to decide if the beginning letter is correct.
*Ending Sounds - 5 pages where they have to decide if the ending letter/sound is correct.
*Vowel Sounds - 5 pages where they have to decide if the middle vowel sound is correct.
*Addition to 5, 10 and Subtraction from 5 and 10 - 3 pages each (12 pages total) where they have to decide if the math problems are correct and if they aren't they have to solve them correctly
*Sentence Match - 8 pages - Students will read the sentence and see if if matches the picture. If it does the rewrite the sentence and if not they have to rewrite the sentence to match the picture.

There are "I Can" task cards for each skill to make your life a little bit easier. :)

Let me know what you think by leaving feedback :)
