PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Spring is in the air, so I thought it was the perfect time for another themed freebie. I've created a simple inference craftivity that can be used in so many different ways with any subject and grade level. Students design an egg.(I've included 5 different egg templates for you to choose from.) The students include clues either on the outside of the egg or on the attached template page as to what is inside their egg. Students will try to guess what is inside each egg by the clues given. I have pictured a math example of how to use the craftivity, but there literally are hundreds of ways to use this! Here are just a few of my ideas for you:

Science Ideas: Students can draw a certain type of cloud, a particular animal, a phase in any science cycle, a particular type of matter, a landform, etc. inside the egg. They then must give factual clues about that particular object ,and the students must guess what is drawn inside.

Math Ideas: Students could write a certain number inside the egg, then give clues about that number (i.e. its even, it’s the product of 2 x 8, etc). The other students then use the clues to figure out the number hidden inside the egg.

Social Studies Ideas: Students can draw a famous historical person or place, then list facts about that person/place as clues for the other students to use to guess.

Grammar: Students can write a word that pertains to a certain part of speech,( i.e. an adjective or noun); then have students try to guess the word from the clues.

*This would work great as a whole group, small group, or station/center activity

I hope you enjoy this simple, yet cute craftivity! Thanks for stopping by my TpT store! Check back often for more freebies!
