PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a set of guided notes with a short reading passage on the topic of taxonomy and the binomial system of nomenclature. You will find several pages of graphic organizers moving students through all of the details of the classification scheme. It covers all of the domains, information on the levels of classification and practice and application on how to name organisms using the binomial system. There is also a short reading passage students use to answer questions on classification. This is good for any level of biology as you can adjust it up or down (by ability level) for any age group especially middle school or high school biology. There is also a pre and post learning goals assessment included.
