Graphic Organizer "What's in my head?" that can be used for many different topics and grade levels. Use this organizer to get students thinking at the introduction of a topic to see what they already know about the topic. This organizer is also a great one to use in the middle of a unit to see what students are learning and thinking about the concept. You can also use this organizer on a bulletin board or to make big comic strips. The thought cloud can be positioned over a famous person's head to have student brainstorm, "What was Abraham Lincoln thinking when he signed the Emancipation Proclamation?" You could also use it to personify a human stomach or another image representing the topic being covered (a volcano or cell, for example).
