Students will get repeated practice in solving unit rate problems involving unit pricing. The real-world examples from the grocery store also gives students an opportunity to practice their rounding to the nearest cent. Each of the eight stations lists two products in which they must find the unit price for. Then, they are to determine which of those two products are the better buy.
My class really enjoyed this activity! Students will finish at different times, so I made sure to have something else for the early finishers to work on while everyone else finished up.
