Can be used in small or large groups to target self-regulation skills, identifying the size of the problem, and perceptions of others (social thinking strategies).
Use the problem cards to discuss how problems make you feel, how big/small the problem is, what your reaction to the problem is, how big/small your reaction is, how your reaction makes other people feel, and whether that now creates another problem.
Students can act out different scenarios while using different reactions, while other students try to guess what size reaction was used and whether it was appropriate to the situation (and if not, what's the hidden rule?).
