"What's the Scoop" is an EASY way to incorporate current events and public speaking in the primary classroom! Every week, a student is the Class Reporter. The student will receive three ice cream scoops on Monday to work on at home. S/he will watch the news, read the news on the Internet, or read the newspaper to find three headlines from the week to write in his/her own words. On Friday, the student brings the scoops back (hopefully cut out!) and shares them with the class.

This file includes:
* directions for setting up the project and your bulletin board
* bulletin board sign
* four different ice cream scoops for you to choose from
* family letter with directions

Thanks for taking a look!
