What’s the Secret Number? Level 2

This packet includes 72 pages of addition and subtraction practice as well 10’s and 1’s, 10 and 1 more/less. On each page 9 clues are given as to what the secret number is not. As students solve the equation, they color in the picture that has the corresponding answer. The picture that is not colored in is the secret number. Simple, fun and effective!

There are 2 pages for each skill. The pictures on those 2 pages are the same, but the answers/equations are different. I like doing this so that I can pass 2 almost identical papers out but alternate them so that students sitting next to each other don’t have the same paper.

The format is the same on all pages, just the skill and pictures change. Because the format is the same, I often use these pages for early finishes, use them for homework and often have them handy for when I have a sub!

This packet is has a wide range of skill/ability. I use it for my first graders, but it could definitely be used for second graders and advanced kindergartens.
