When I Get Upset Calm Down Choice Board

This calm down choice board is perfect for young children and students who have communication needs. The boards give little ones several visual cue options to choose from to help them calm down in appropriate ways. Easy to use, just print, laminate, and cut apart choice cards. Back with Velcro or magnetic tape. Place the “When I Get Upset” board on a clipboard or cookie sheet (using magnetic tape). You may also choose to keep on a wall near the student’s cubby. Place two to five choices on the board for the student to choose from. Use the ones that are most reinforcing to begin with. Change up the options from time to time to allow for variety.
