Create a class book!
Start the new school year off with a class book to help your students learn each other's names. Based on Who Took the Cookies From the Cookie Jar?
by Bonnie Lass & Philemon Sturges, each student creates a page for the class book. The teacher creates the last page!
Directions are included for passing around a cookie jar while saying the repetitive text of this piece of literature. Once every child has a turn, it's time to eat!
Check out our KinderLit collage book, Where Are My Cookies? so each child in your classroom can create his/her own copy by collaging many of the animals in the piece of literature. Click here to read more about it!
