Where are we now?
This is a cute sign for your classroom door to let visitors know where you and your class are. I laminated the sign and each of the cards, and then put velcro on them to easily switch them out each time we leave the classroom.
For your convenience, the circles are sized to work with a 2 ¼” circle punch. :)
**The first picture shows how the sign will look with one of the cards attached.**
The door sign set includes...
- Field Trip
- Computer Lab
The first year I made this for my classroom, I just printed everything on cardstock, laminated each page, cut it all out, and then put Velcro dots on the back of each of the round pieces and one in the middle of the blue & pink circle on the “Where Are We Now?” sign.
For this school year, I got a bit more creative and put the “Where Are We Now?” sign in an 8x10 picture frame, and then used my button maker to make 2 ¼” buttons out of each of the round pieces. I removed the pins from the back of the buttons and left just the metal back. Last I hot glued a magnet directly to the glass of the picture frame in the middle of the blue & pink circle. I have pictures of it done this way on my blog if you want to see the final product… kearsonsclassroomblog.blogspot.com (just look for the label or search *Where are we now*)
Either way… TA-DA! You have a cute sign for your classroom door to let everyone know where you and your class are. :)
