Below is a general description of my Sight Word Plays. "Where Are You?" is a little different because it is a "Vocabulary Play" that targets positional words, in addition to the sight word "where". Target words in this play include: where, over, under, on, in, out, down, and up. An extension sheet for each word is included, so this play is priced a little higher than regular Sight Word Plays. Thanks for looking!
This play is also available in my Back to School Sight Word Plays Bundle for a reduced price!

*Sight Word plays are a twist on the well known Reader's Theater strategy. Reader's Theater is a great way to build fluency through repeated reading - Sight Word plays accomplish this along with targeting a specific sight word! A few highlights of these plays:
-Sight Word plays are laid out differently than traditional Reader's Theater formats. Instead of a "script" they are laid out like a comic strip with speech bubbles!
-Each play only has 2 characters - keeping it simple and making them perfect for partner reading!
-The target sight word is highlighted throughout the script for reinforcement
-Picture clues are provided to help with tricky words
-Two versions of the script are provided, with words in bold for the speaking character
-Plays are bright and colorful (but remember that you can always print in "grayscale" to save that expensive color ink!)
-Each play comes with 5 extension sheets that are perfect to place in a center for early finishers and to hold students accountable!
