This emergent reader can be used to practice the -ot family of words. It also is good review and/or introduction for the following sight words: it, can, go, to, the.
The original book contains a missing beginning consonant for an -ot word at the end of each sentence (e.g. __ot). Students can fill in the letter to match the corresponding picture.
The less challenging level contains no missing letters (e.g. dot). It is suggested students search and highlight/circle the -ot words on each page.
The more challenging level is missing each -ot word with spaces corresponding to each letter (e.g. __ __ __). Students can fill in the missing letters to spell each word.
