These cards are designed for young children to learn to attend to details in pictures, expand vocabulary, semantics, and categories, and to answer simple wh-questions. Similar questions are repeated on many cards to provide students with repeated opportunities to practice the targeted forms. Students can answer one or more of the three questions on the back of each card.
Place the cards in a pile face up. A student chooses a card. The picture can be described or discussed. The student is then asked one or more or the questions on the back of the card. If the question/s is answered correctly, the student rolls a dice and moves a token ahead on the game board. The student to arrive at the finish first is the winner.
