There are 15 different reading passages in this resource. For each passage, there are 4 levels (color and white/black versions of all). There are answer keys included for levels 1-3.
Level 1: Enlarged text, simple text (can also be read out loud to students) with lots of visual supports. Students circle/point to the answers for two different questions per passage. In this level, the setting is stated directly in the reading passage.
Level 2: Simplified text with some visual supports. Students answer two questions with 2 possible choices. The setting is not started directly in this level, students use context and visual clues to figure out the setting.
Level 3: This level has slightly longer reading passages of the same story with many context clues. The visual is more abstract and again, the setting is not directly stated in passage. Student use context clues and process of elimination to determine out the setting.
Level 4: The reading passages in this level are the same as in level 3 but the students write in their own answers to answer the question, “What happens next?” and draw a picture of the setting.
Table on contents and answer key (for passages in level 1-3) included.
