This activity will be a great addition to your study of geography. Students will create a foldable with longitude and latitude clues and other clues of the location they are in the United States. The front of the foldable contains the clue writing and a blank U.S. map. The inside of the foldable will have a U.S. map where students will plot the absolute location their clues lead to. Once foldables are completed, you now have what you need for a scoot game. Each foldable will be out on the student desk and students will use the U.S. map scoot game sheet included in the pack to plot the absolute location of each foldable. A bonus is that they can check their own work before moving to the next desk so it is self checking. Also included is a Hallway display sign promoting by passers to guess their location and check their answer by raising the flap. This activity is sure to have your students up and moving around while practicing a very important skill.
