This differentiated activity allows students to look at a series of maps (included) and come up with their own reasoning as to where most Canadians live. The three activities are similar, yet tiered based on difficulty and student readiness. At the end of the activity, all students will have the knowledge of where most Canadians live.
This activity also provides enrichment activities that allow students to brainstorm the pros and cons of living in a certain area and persuade people to move there. This can be used as formative assessments.
