This activity will require a printed U.S. Map.
This activity asks students where they have lived versus where they have visited as a way for students to practice their 50 states and become comfortable in front of the class.
After students complete the attached activity, they will each take a turn in front of the class, pointing to and explaining where they have been (traveled/lived) across the U.S. Using a projector, you will need to project a map for students to use as a visual when presenting.
I have found great success using this as an introductory activity to the 50 states.
