This book is perfect for beginning/young readers, special education students, and students needing extra assistance when reading. This product is a great addition to language arts/literacy centers or a classroom library in March. Where is Mr. Leprechaun's Pot of Gold? is about a leprechaun looking for his pot of gold in a school. Students are exposed to the vocabulary for different items in a school and St. Patrick's Day. Students are required to identify the corresponding school supply for each page.
Where is Mr. Leprechaun's Pot of Gold? Adapted Book Level 1
Where is Mr. Leprechaun's Pot of Gold? Adapted Book Level 2
There are two levels.
Students are required to find the matching school supply (from the pieces provided) and place it in the box at the bottom of the page.
Level 2: Students are required to identify the school supply named and place it near the leprechaun. To set up this book, after laminating, I place a piece of Velcro near the leprechaun on each page. After the student reads the page (or is read the page), the student must identify the school supply from the choices provided and put the item next to the leprechaun.
