This Thanksgiving themed book designed by Heather Bates, SLP was created as a way to teach and reinforce basic spatial concepts that are taught as part of the Kindergarten Core Curriculum. The concepts that can be targeted include: on/off, in/out, behind/in front of, over/under, next to/between and around. You can use all of these concepts in your book or only specific ones you are working on. Students must place and glue the turkey in the given location on each page. They may color the book when they are finished. A colored copy has been added to this product for teachers to laminate and use as a model. Students will love the adorable graphics from www.mycutegraphics.com, scrappindoodles, and pinkcatstudio.com. They will also enjoy being able to “read” the book by stating where the turkey is located in each picture.
