Where is this person going? Sentence scaffolds to understand and use "where" questions, subjective pronouns (he/she) and common places

Between 24-30 months of age, most typically developing children start to understand that "where" questions are about places.

At around 31-24 months, typically developing children start to use "he" and "she" reliably.

At around 36 months of age, typically developing children start responding to "where" questions.

Many people learning English as a second language and/or with communication disorders need extra practice to learn how to answer - and to ask - "where" questions; and to use "he" and "she" reliably when answering "where" questions.

This no preparation pack contains 36 sentence scaffolds to help people to practice answering (and asking) "where" questions and to answer "where" questions using "he" and "she". To vary the activity, you can also cut up and paste individual sentence scaffolds in the available space.

The scaffolds also include common places to help stimulate semantic language development and background knowledge of places, as well as some ideas for day trips!
