Each page of the study guide covers one chapter of material from the book. There is a prediction question, three multiple choice questions, and one or two short answer questions for each chapter. An answer key is included.
The prediction questions are a good way to get the students thinking about what they have already read or what they already know in order to infer what could possibly happen.
The multiple choice questions are what I call “Accountability Questions” because if they read the chapter (or listened to the teacher read) they should easily know the answer. Since I teach a group of students with special needs, I made the questions easy enough that they could recall the answer from memory or so they can look them up in the book. You can always modify the work to make it easier or more difficult, depending on your group of learners.
The short answer section is great for class discussions or essay starters.
