-Groundhog Time {time to the quarter hour} – Students sort analog clocks into three groups (Quarter-to/Quarter-before, Half-past, or Quarter-after/Quarter past). All answers are recorded on the recording sheet.
-Groundhog Nouns, Verbs, & Adjectives – Students sort words into nouns, verbs, and adjectives. All answers are recorded on the recording sheet.
-Prefix Memory – Students work with a partner to match a prefix to a root word. If they make a match they get to keep the cards and record the word on the recording sheet.
