Where's Your Pair is a game/activity wherein students consider the relationship between pairs of words. Words may be related in many ways: synonyms, antonyms, complement each other, or rhyme, just to name a few. Sometimes, words can go with more than one word. It is the students' job to figure out a way for the words to go together, while finding a pair for every word in the set.
This activity includes 10 sets of words (with 10 pairs in each set.) A record sheet and answer key are also included.
This activity is ideal for literacy centers, or it can be used for individual students to work on at their seats. Directions offer suggestions for both uses.
This activity not only encourages students to think critically and problem solve, it expands vocabulary and pushes students to think "outside the box." Lots of fun - your students will love it!
