PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Do you have the luck o' the Irish? Help find where the mischievous leprechaun is hiding on each of these cards. I have so many students who have a hard time using prepositional words expressively, so I came up with this activity to target concept words. This Bingo can be played in two different ways to target either Receptive or Expressive understanding of Prepositions. First, the student may select a card (either with the words listed on the bottom or blank bottom). Then, they must tell the other students where the leprechaun is hiding. (Example: below the shamrock, next to the pot of gold, going down the rainbow, etc.). The students must find the picture that matches the description and mark it. If your students are just beginning to understand prepositions, you might want to play the second version, in which you will draw the cards and explain where the leprechaun is hiding. Either way, your students must cue into the preposition and other items in the description. This game can also be used as a describing game for students. If you don't want to play Bingo, you can also use just the "calling cards" to play go-fish or memory. One added bonus for this activity is that I am including a data sheet for all of the prepositions to help you document the prepositions they know and are stilling struggling to understand.

This activity includes the following:

* Directions
* 24 calling cards with the word on the bottom (i.e. bottom, between, middle, beside, etc.)
* 24 calling cards with no words to give your students no clues
* 6 Bingo cards
* Data sheet

Have fun finding the troublesome leprechaun!
