Reinforcing aurally identifying one and two measure rhythmic patterns utilizing: quarter note, quarter rest and 2 eighth notes beamed has just become fun for your elementary music students. They will love this student interactive music game with a pirate theme. It is perfect to use whenever you are working with the concept with your elementary music students while sequencing the Orff and Kodaly rhythmic concepts.
The product contains 15 student interactive slides (created with PowerPoint 2013 and tested on PowerPoint 2010): 5 slides with 1 meaure and 10 slides with 2 measures. Each slide has several sound effects and animations. Students will click on the pirate's map to hear a rhythmic pattern. They will then click on the rhythm that matches what they hear! Students will know immediately without leaving the page if they were able to determine which rhythm was played or if they need to listen again. The product works well with Smartboards! Students just have to touch the board to activate the animations.
A great game to use with the entire class, a substitute or centers!
An excellent observation or assessment tool to see which students might be struggling with the concept.
The product was created to be compatible for Mac users. However, please download the preview as a test prior to purchasing!
