This amazing 15 page resource should be used to reinforce the
beginning consonant blends that are the cornerstone of
any phonic based reading program. Using fun graphics in this challenging activity, this resource is sure to be a delightful addition to your reading/phonic curriculum.
Pages 2-6 cover the eight (8) R blends.
Pages 7-11 cover the six (6) L blends.
Pages 12-16 cover the seven (7) S blends.

Students should first identify the object, determine the first blend sound of the word and then circle it. All of the words have been listed at the bottom of each page in random order. The students will need to use their listening and word building skills to determine which blend goes with each word. These could be used in conjunction with (or as) spelling lists.
While there are some duplicate words used, it is very minimal and in some cases, I have used different graphics that require the same word. In this way, it makes it fresh and different.
