This question card game serves as a fun strategy to learn, practice, and discuss healthy coping strategies to manage anger or anxiety.
Each of the 40 question cards offer an opportunity to discuss personal examples or physically practice a coping skill through role playing. Questions include the concepts of distraction and grounding techniques, mindfulness, feelings expression, taking breaks, problem solving, and asking for help.
Resource includes 80 coping skill scenarios using the junk food/candy theme for appeal. The cards include the question, "Which coping skill would you rather "chews?" (choose). Participants will have the option to choose either a role play to engage in or answer a discussion question related to their personal coping. Game may be used as brain breaks, icebreakers, or played in individual, groups, or in a classroom setting to teach and practice emotional regulation.
