THIS IS A POWERPOINT VERSION of this game. A keynote version is also available in my store. The game can be edited. Images used are fun and engaging. Images are also 100% CC0 license public domain.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Powerpoint resets my keynote slides to mosaic transition. I personally find it annoying and recommend highlighting all the slides down the left of the viewer and selecting fade as the global transition. Some of the builds (animations) have shifted as well but I don't believe they will be a problem for you. Georgia and Marker Felt are common fonts you will need for the slides to look correctly.
Let Detective Marceau encourage logical thought and discussion for your students. This is an awesome game and can be lots of fun with the class. You can go the whole nine yards and dress up, decorate, have fun! Detailed directions for play and scoring are on the slides.
Slides will show four objects that vary in type, size, texture, scientific facts, and other characteristics. The goal is to identify the odd object and state why it does not belong. A clear and detailed example of game play is provided along with 16 sets of problems. A worksheet is available for free on my store to accompany the game if desired.
Violin, Guitar, Drum, Banjo
They are all instruments...but a drum is not a stringed instrument
Firecracker, Bomb, Dynamite, Candle
They all have fuses...but a candle does not explode
If this game does not run correctly for you, please let me know and I will try to troubleshoot it for you.
