I'm a techie, but my first passion has always been English and writing. I teach my students the basic rules for capitalizing titles because they come to computer classes not knowing these (pretty simple) rules. This detailed lesson plan only takes 20 minutes to implement to most age groups and will work well for students in fourth grade all the way through high school (I've found that even upper-grade students need a refresher now and then).
If you are looking for ways to merge core content instruction with technology, this lesson was designed to do just that (thus giving students a tool they can use when the teacher isn't around).
Note: This unit is included in the full, sixth grade curriculum package.
