This Powerpoint has four guided sections to walk students through all aspects of telling time, and it is perfect for the Realidades 4B chapter for Spanish 1.
Students first review phrases from the beginning of Spanish 1 (It is 2:00, it is 3:30, etc.) The correct answers appears at the bottom on a click.
Then, they learn and practice how to say phrases starting with "at" (at 2:00, at 8:45, etc.)
The next part teaches the phrases "in the morning/afternoon/evening," and "this morning/afternoon/evening."
Finally, students will write complete sentences using these phrases, such as "We eat at 1:00 in the afternoon."
Since there are four sections, you could teach this all at once, or teach the first two levels one day and the next two levels the next day.
While telling time isn't necessarily the most exciting of topics, my students enjoyed seeing how they advanced from level to level with this Powerpoint. I hope your students enjoy it as well!
