What educators are saying

I use this around October parent/teacher conference time. It is a fun and engaging writing activity for students as well as for the parents while waiting for their conference time.
My students loved trying to stump their peers when giving clues about themselves. They not only worked hard describing themselves, but also enjoyed guessing who was who.

Description

This activity is perfect for back to school, open house, getting to know you, or parent conferences. I use this on the first day of school and post it on my bulletin board.

On the first page the students answer questions about themselves. I've included 7 different variations of the front page, each with a difference mustache. With a photograph and a paragraph, students reveal their identity on the second page.
