Who Has a Prefix? is a fun and engaging way for your students to increase their understanding of prefixes. Playing begins with each player getting a set of prefix word cards. Players must use these prefix word cards to correctly answer questions from the game question cards. For example, a question card may ask:
Who has a word with a prefix that means far or distance?
Who has a word with the prefix un-?
Who has a prefix that begins with a vowel?
Players look at their prefix word cards and try to find a word that correctly answers the questions. The player that correctly answers the most questions wins the game.
