Students get a chance to tell the teacher and their classmates a little bit about themselves using these three worksheets. (One designed like a baseball card, one using geometric shapes, and one using visualization.) These are just like the letter size worksheets except that they have writing prompts on the bottom of the page. You can use them to see what your students writing is like right from the start.
I have my students choose which one appeals to them and have them fill it out. Once they have filled out the worksheet, then I allow them to decorate it using crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
You can then have the students Pair/Share, do a museum walk or hang the posters in the hall in order to get to know their classmates better.
My students really enjoy using these to get to know their classmates.
