This download includes the digital material needed to create an adapted book or flap book for your Pre-K, Kindergarten, or students who are low-functioning. I enjoy using these flap books to target a variety of skills, including but not limited to:
I recommend laminating each individual page for durability. The last several pages of the document include an image of each animal named in the text to be cut out individually and several copies of the tundra scene to use as flaps. After laminating the pages and separating the manipulatives from the text, bind together the text using a comb binding tool or metal rings with a hole punch or whatever else you prefer to use when binding books. You can then use velcro to attach all of the flaps and animal manipulatives.
Please see the preview download for an example of the end result once the materials have been prepared.
