For this activity, students put students into groups of 3-4. You will need one set of cards per group.
Eight different linear functions are represented. Each function is represented in a word problem, a table, a graph, and in function notation.
Students must decided which cards represent the same linear function.
Students will sort the cards accordingly. A completed set for a function will have one card of every type.
In this activity, students are able to make connections between the information represented in each form and how it relates to other forms of the same function. You could make it a race to see which group can sort the cards the fastest!
