Product Description

Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar is a delightful 'round robin' song. This resource provides visual support for learning this song and is available in three formats: Regular, PCS, SymbolStix. This is the SymbolStix Version (n2y).

Everyone: Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?

Teacher: (Student 1) stole the cookie from the cookie jar

Student 1: Who me?

Everyone: Yes, you!

Student: Couldn't be!

Everyone: Then who?

Student 1: (selects another student) (Student 2) stole the cookie from the cookie jar.

Student 2: Who me?

Everyone: Yes, you!

Student 2: Couldn't be!

Everyone: Then who?

Song continues for students 3 through 8 …. with everyone having a chance to 'shine' when it's their turn to recite lines. When a student is chosen in the 'round robin', the PowerPoint program navigates to two slides that you will be personalizing with a photo face of that student. Please refer to the following blog posts for information on how to substitute photo faces of your students for the illustrated faces provided in the downloaded resource. http://bit.ly/PhotoFaces http://bit.ly/PersonalizingPoems

If you wish to have the symbols appear before (rather than after) the animation sequence, please review the following blog post. http://bit.ly/2fZYwVs

This resource can be displayed on the 'big screen' (interactive whiteboard, large screen TV using Apple TV) or the 'small screen' (computer monitor, iPad/Android tablet using the free Microsoft PowerPoint app).
