This Christmas writing project and craftivity is based on one of the greatest holiday read-alouds EVER --- "Who Will Guide My Sleigh Tonight?" by Jerry Pallotta. For a better look at what's included, just click on PREVIEW!
After reading the story, explore the concept of "perspective" with your class. Assemble the included "perspectacles", put on a Santa hat and your best Santa Claus voices, and say, "Ho, Ho, Ho, I think I'll have some ______ guide the sleigh tonight!" Then, use the provided graphic organizer to begin writing about which animal we would choose (if we were Santa Claus) and why.
Included in this set, you'll find all the necessary templates for making this adorable little Santa craftivity, as well as Santa "perspectacles", graphic organizer, four different writing pages and a bulletin board banner with the words, "Who Will Guide My Sleigh Tonight?"
I hope your kiddos LOVE trying to see from Santa's point-of-view!
