Whole Class Journals #2: Compare and Contrast

Teacher Instructions:
This is the second version of whole class journals. These focus on 12 different Compare and contrast essay topics for your class. Also included is a page with a compare and contrast word bank for students to use in their writing as well as a grading rubric. These Whole Class Journals can be used during Centers. Each student in the class has a chance to respond to the topic. Once they have finished writing about that topic, they can place a sticker of their choice on the front cover. This tells you how many students have already written in that notebook. In your students free time, they can read what their peers wrote.
