Whole Note and Whole Rest Worksheet Bundle
This is a great bundle for working with your young musicians on whole notes and whole rests. This bundle includes 5 song files. Each of these song files includes song lyrics, slides to show beat, slides that show rhythm, slides using familiar notes, slides introducing new note, rhythmic notation in standard rhythmic notation, an interactive game, original song with standard notation in case you do not already have this song in your repertoire, rhythm charts, and a map for songs that are from different places around the world.
This bundle also includes a PDF for introducing whole rest. This PDF will not only introduce these concepts, but also give you different ways of reinforcing this concept. Students will be able to practice using the songs they already learned in the song files, they can play ostinato patterns for the songs they know, or even create their OWN ostinatos.
The worksheet bundle will allow students to work individually or in pairs to show you what they know and practice reading and writing these rhythms.
Finally, enjoy one more interactive games with Bake Me a Cake. Bake Me a Cake focuses on students knowledge of how many beats these new notes gets as they add ingredients together to make the ultimate cake!
