I program using Signpost Maths activities as a primary resource, so the order of teaching generally goes along with the 5 and 6 text books, though I always supplement this with my own activities and resources to completely fulfil the requirements of the syllabus (listed within the program).
I align my teaching process and materials with the NESA NSW curriculum, and have outlined resources needed for lessons, as well as allowed space for evaluations in each weekly lesson space.
This program is fully able to be edited to suit your own class, however it is a well researched (and often borrowed by numerous colleagues) program which ticks every box thoroughly.
HOW TO USE-
1) Weeks One to ten of term 1 are fully outlined. Highlight the outcomes/ indicators you worked on as you go through the term.
2) Copy and paste the weekly lessons from term one below the 29th page, in the order you wish to teach them, leaving out the outcomes/ indicators that have been grasped by your class in the previous term/s.
3) At the end of the year you will be able to explicitly see what needed to be re-covered, and what was grasped easily.
4) There is a row remaining at the end of each term for you to evaluate whole class progress. This has helped me a lot when it comes to writing reports.
I hope you enjoy using this resource as much as I do each year. It sure has made my life way easier!
