This second through fourth grade homophone activity is excellent for individual or small group learning centers. Students are required to locate the "hole" which fits into each homophone "whole" definition. The students in my third grade classroom enjoy completing this exercise "concentration-style" with all cards flipped upside down for an extra challenge.16 common homophones are practiced; large and small-sized cards are included for each. The only preparation required by you is cutting out the center of each puzzle piece. I also laminate the pieces for durability.
