This PowerPoint provides students an opportunity to consider key issues that surface while reading Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and prompts discussion on this issues. I use it to transition from a reading of A Streetcar Named Desire to Albee's play. After the prereading discussion, students have an opportunity to reflect on literature that portrays the negative qualities of human nature. The PowerPoint wraps up with information about the author, Edward Albee, and the Edward Albee Foundation for Writers.
