Use this game to teach separation of powers of the United States Government. This a GREAT and FUN way for students to learn or practice their understanding of which branch of government has the power in our government.
** I print the cards on card stock and laminate them before playing and they have lasted for over 4 years and have been used many times.
The game includes two different colored sets of playing cards and 20 power cards.
Students can play against each other or partners v partners.
Power cards that belong to the branches of government are turned over and teams race to see who can play the correct branch card that possesses that power in our government. Students must chose from The Executive Branch, The United States Senate, The United States House of Representatives, The United States Congress, The United States Supreme Court. Students MUST know the specifics of the United States Government to win this game.
