Who’s lurking in that window? Your students will have a spook-tacular time as they read rhythmic patterns to see who is hiding in each of the windows of this “haunted house”.
To play, you simply click on a set of eyes on one of two interactive PDF files. The students will read the rhythmic pattern. If they get it correct the will get to see who the eyes belong to.
Two interactive PDFs are included: one written in stick notation with note heads and one written in stick notation without note heads.
This bundled set includes two PDFs for each of the following rhythmic elements, and are non-specific to a counting system so they will be applicable to which ever counting system you use in your classroom:
ta ti-ti (quarter note and barred eighth notes
rest (quarter rest)
tika-tika (four barred sixteenth notes)
ti-tika (one eighth-two sixteenth notes)
tika-ti (two sixteenth-one eighth note)
syncopa (eighth-quarter-eighth notes)
tam-ti (dotted quarter-eighth notes)
ti-tam (eighth-dotted quarter notes)
tim-ka (dotted eighth-sixteenth notes)
6/8 meter (includes eighth, quarter, dotted quarter, dotted rest)
** Make sure to run the programs in Acrobat, NOT preview or the hyperlnks will not work. :)
