Do you want to get your students laughing and engaged throughout literacy? Give this a try from Curtis Fisher, using Abbott and Costello's comedy routine Who's On First. In a great listening activity, students can try to name the team (St. Louis Wolves) while watching Abbott and Costello's zany antics. Students can then practice readers' theater by partnering up and reading the script to build fluency. Included is a link to a video on YouTube, and a link to the script, along with a baseball field for naming the team and some reflection questions for readers' theater.
