This vocabulary project provides students with opportunities to make connections between the origination of the concept, how it impacts their education, and how it can be applied in the real-world. Modifications can be applied to accommodate all learners while promoting research and technology.
Students will create a journal based on ten chosen vocabulary terms. Using magazines and newspaper only, students will display their term from a picture or article. They are to research who and when the concept originated while placing the terms in chronological order. Finally, they are to find a released state question that applies to that term. The class will design the Frayer model to use within the journal.
